The soybean or soya bean is a species of legume native to East Asia. It is considered a superfood owing to its high protein content and bio-active components, such as isoflavones. It is also a good source of iron, B vitamins and potassium. Consuming soya flour reduces risk of heart disease, reduces menopausal symptoms and aids bone health.
